- ⅓ cup honey
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon rice vinegar
- 2 tablespoons oil (divided)
- 1 pound raw shrimp
- 2 tablespoons minced garlic (about 6 cloves)
Instructions
- In a small bowl, combine the honey, soy sauce, and rice vinegar. Set aside.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes until pink. Remove to a plate or bowl.
- Add the remaining 1 tablespoon of oil to the skillet. Add the garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
- Add the sauce mixture and cook until the sauce bubbles and thickens, about 2-3 minutes. Return the shrimp to the pan and toss to evenly coat. Serve with freshly steamed rice and enjoy!
Notes
Serve with rice or on a bed of greens. Add sesame seeds or chopped green onions for extra flavor.
