Description

Delightful, warm roll-ups made with flaky phyllo dough and a sweet honey-cinnamon filling, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 pkg frozen phyllo dough (thawed)
  • ½ cup honey
  • ¼ cup melted butter
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • ¼ cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • Powdered sugar (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment.
  2. Mix honey and cinnamon. Unroll phyllo dough and cover it with a damp cloth to keep it moist.
  3. Layer 4 sheets of phyllo dough, brushing each with melted butter. Spread the honey mixture on top, and sprinkle with nuts if using.
  4. Roll tightly from one end and place seam-down on the prepared baking sheet. Repeat until all dough is used.
  5. Brush the tops with the remaining melted butter. Bake for 15–20 minutes, or until golden brown.
  6. Cool slightly, slice into pieces, dust with powdered sugar, and serve warm.

Notes

Serve warm with powdered sugar on top, alongside vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
