  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1/4 cup hot water
  • 1 tbsp Better Than Bouillon beef base
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 lb beef (sliced thin or ground)

  • 1 onion (sliced)
  • 2 carrots (cut into sticks)

  2. Make the sauce by mixing the beef base into hot water until it dissolves. Add soy sauce and brown sugar, then set aside.
  3. Cook the beef in a pan with oil over high heat for 2-3 minutes until golden brown, then set aside.
  4. In the same pan, cook onions for 3 minutes until golden, then add carrots and cook for an additional 2 minutes. Follow with broccoli for another 2 minutes.
  5. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  6. Return the beef to the pan, pour in the sauce, and let it simmer for 2 minutes.
  7. Toss in the cooked noodles, mixing until coated with sauce.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with green onions or sesame seeds if desired.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the beef in soy sauce and cornstarch for 15 minutes before cooking. Feel free to add more vegetables like bell peppers or snow peas.
